Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Regener8 Café operates this website and the café at 3490 NW 2nd Ave, Wynwood, Miami, FL 33127. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Regener8 Café. “You” means anyone who visits this site.

This policy covers this website only. It does not cover the separate services we link out to — most importantly our ordering and rewards system, which is operated by Toast, Inc. Those services have their own privacy policies, and they apply once you leave this site.

2. What we collect

We collect three kinds of information, and no more than we need.

Information you give us

If you fill in the sign-up form, we collect the email address you enter, and — only if you choose to give them — your name and mobile number. If you call us, we have your phone number and whatever you tell us. If you enquire about catering, we have the details of your enquiry.

Information collected automatically

If, and only if, you accept analytics, we collect standard measurement data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, referring site, and which links you click. This is aggregate measurement, not a profile with your name on it.

Information from other services

Our website shows public posts from our own Instagram accounts. That content comes from Meta and is public already. We do not receive anything about you from Instagram by your visiting this site.

We do not ask for and do not want payment card details, government identification, health information, or precise location. Payments happen on Toast, never here.

3. Why we use it

• To reply to you — an enquiry about catering, a question about the menu, a booking.
• To send you what you asked for, and only what you asked for: menu news, farm stories and opening announcements, if you opted in.
• To understand how the site is used, so we can fix what is confusing and improve what works.
• To keep the site secure and working, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.

4. Cookies and analytics

Analytics do not run until you say yes. When you first visit, you are asked to accept or decline. Nothing measurement-related is loaded into the page before you choose — if you decline, the analytics scripts are never added at all.

Your choice is stored in your own browser under the key “r8-consent”. That value never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Clearing your browser storage resets the question.

If you accept, we count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not set cookies and does not identify you. Where Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics are enabled, they also run only after you accept, and set their own cookies under Google’s terms. We honour the Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track” signals where your browser sends them: if we see one, we treat it as a decline.

5. Text messages

The SMS box on our sign-up form is unchecked by default, and it is separate from the email box. Ticking it is the only way you are added to texts — we never opt you in because you gave us a number for something else.

If you opt in: message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can stop at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything from us.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share only with the services that make the site and the business work:

Toast, Inc.

Ordering, payments and the rewards programme. If you sign up for rewards or place an order, you are dealing with Toast under Toast’s privacy policy — the data goes to them, not through us.

Google

Tag Manager and Analytics, only after you accept.

Vercel

Hosting. Their servers deliver this site and keep standard operational logs. Web Analytics — aggregate page views, without cookies — only after you accept.

Meta

Only to fetch our own public Instagram posts for display.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business — in which case any buyer inherits the commitments in this policy.

7. How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details, we remove them from our lists — except where we must keep a record for accounting or legal reasons.

8. Your choices and your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in the message, and stop texts by replying STOP. You can change your analytics choice by clearing your browser storage for this site.

Under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, Florida residents may have rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data and certain profiling. We do not sell personal data or run targeted advertising from this site.

California residents have similar rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Residents of the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to their supervisory authority.

To exercise any of this, contact us using the details at the end of this policy. We will verify who you are before acting on a request, and we will respond within the period the applicable law allows.

9. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. We do not operate our own customer database, and we do not store payment information at any point — that is deliberate: the safest data is the data you never hold. Where information is held by Toast or Google, it sits under their security programmes.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

10. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

We link to Toast, Instagram, Google Maps, Regener8 Farm, Centner Wellness and Centner Academy, among others. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site, under their policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be signalled on the site rather than made quietly.
